Brick, steel and timber-dark siding, built for a mountain town
Designed by Studio4 Architects of Billings, The Landmark is a three-story residential building over a fully enclosed parking level. The street face along Oaks Avenue steps in and out between full-depth brick and dark vertical steel, broken up by private decks so it reads as a row of buildings rather than one block.
A covered entry court with The Landmark name across its canopy opens into a main lobby with two passenger elevators, and a freight elevator serves every floor. Every floor is served by a central corridor, two enclosed stairs and a refuse chute. The building has secure electronic access and is fully sprinklered.
Comfort and quiet were designed in from the start. The building has superior insulation and noise mitigation, including R-49 roof insulation and sound-attenuating walls between residences and along corridors, so every home stays warm through a Red Lodge winter and quiet and private year-round.

Montana’s best small mountain town, right outside your door
Red Lodge sits at 5,588 feet at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains. It started as a coal town in the 1880s, and the brick storefronts its Italian, Finnish, Scandinavian and British miners built still line Broadway today. It is the Carbon County seat, with a year-round community of about 2,300 people. Skiing, Yellowstone and a real downtown are all within easy reach.
The most beautiful road in America.
Charles Kuralt, on the Beartooth Highway
To Red Lodge Mountain
About 70 runs and a 2,400-foot vertical drop, six miles up the road. Ski in the morning and be back on Broadway for lunch.
Of Beartooth Highway
The All-American Road starts in town and climbs to nearly 11,000 feet before dropping to Yellowstone’s northeast entrance. Open late May to mid-October.
To Billings
Billings is an easy drive for major shopping, medical care and Billings Logan International Airport, while Red Lodge keeps its small-town pace.
On historic Broadway
Named one of America’s Great Streets by the American Planning Association. Drivers yield to pedestrians, and the downtown is a National Register historic district.
The Pollard Hotel
The town’s first brick building still welcomes guests, a short walk from The Landmark. Restaurants, galleries and shops fill the old storefronts around it.
Of things to do
The Home of Champions Rodeo every July, the national skijoring finals in winter, and trailheads within fifteen miles of town in every season.
Four seasons of reasons to stay
Beyond the ski hill and the highway, here is what owners love about living here.

Why buy here, and why now
New construction in a historic downtown
Downtown Red Lodge is a protected historic district with a 45-foot height limit. Brand-new condominiums a block from Broadway are hard to come by.
A true lock-and-leave home
Secure electronic access, a heated underground garage, elevators and no yard to keep up. It works as a full-time residence or as a ski-and-summer base you can close up and leave.
Walk to everything
The grocery store is next door and a drug store is across the street. Tennis and pickleball courts and a city park are a block away, and you can walk to dinner, coffee, the shops on Broadway and the start of the Beartooth Highway.
First choice of residence
Reserving early gets you first pick of floor, plan and exposure, and may open the door to plan modifications or combined residences.
Rental flexibility
Short-term and long-term rentals will be optional, so owners can choose to rent their residence when they are away, subject to the association’s rules and local regulations.
Professional building management
A professional management team will oversee the building, common areas and day-to-day operations, so ownership stays easy whether you live here full time or part of the year.
On Oaks Avenue, a block off Broadway
